Are there any age or rank restrictions? High adventure requires 13 and first class rank other open to all
Do they have a theme, merit badge, or rank requirement focus? Yes, ideally. Youth lead troops have variable degrees of success but on balance with our NYLT trained youth leaders we have a superior program.
Does the program change from year to year? We challenge the youth leadership not to repeat more often then every two years
Advancement
Number of Eagle Scouts: 151 since 1977. We don’t have records for earlier scouts
Troop Advancement Philosophy: Offer everything needed for first class in the first year. Individual scouts have a lot of options and support available to finish their unique path to Eagle after that.
Activities to help with advancement: Advancement at meeting, campout, merit badge session, Summer camp, MBUs. 40 registered merit badge councilors in our troop. Adult patrol adviser for each patrol. Youth Instructor and troop guide leadership positions used. These youth leadership positions allow scout to help scouts.
Percentage advancement in the last 12 months: 50% or more every year period.
Uniform
Uniform requirements: Class A shirt, neckerchief and slide, Merit Badge sash. Troop provides neckerchief

What does this include? To much to list.
Fundraising opportunities: Popcorn is the big one but others when they are available. Scout get 100% of profits in to their scout account. The troop does not benefit from these fundraisers.
