Does the program change from year to year? A lot are the same. The boys generally choose where we camp.
Advancement
Number of Eagle Scouts: 8 since 2006
Troop Advancement Philosophy: Get started on it right away. Monitor closely through 1st Class. Then boys are usually mature enough to track progress on their own. Progress report is given out periodically and upon request.
Activities to help with advancement: Summer Camp, Merit Badge workshops (MBU and others), Troop (boys) chosen merit badges at meetings and camp outs.

Approximate yearly cost to be involved in the troop: National Dues at recharter time. No troop dues.
What does this include? Troop provides one handbook, merit badges and other awards, merit badge books. Boys earn escrow through fundraisers that can be used for Scout related expenses.
Fundraising opportunities: Popcorn sales, Christmas wreath sales, annual soup supper, others if needed.

We are small but consistent with our meetings and outings. Our leadership is well trained and seasoned. Individual attention for rank advancement and merit badge work is always available. We have FUN!!
