How often are troop meetings? Every Sunday evening with exceptions for holidays or special events

How often are troop camp-outs? every month

What type of camping do you do? Summer camping, In Council, Winter camping, Canoeing, High Adventure (13 and older), Camporee, We’ve been to Philmont numerous times over the years. The last couple times were in 2011 & 2014.

Are there any age or rank restrictions? In reference to what? Camping, high adventures, or what ?

Do they have a theme, merit badge, or rank requirement focus? The troop creates an annual plan based on monthly themes

Does the program change from year to year? Annual events plus new events where they can be integrated.


Advancement

Number of Eagle Scouts: 12 over the last 4 years, and dozens prior to that

Troop Advancement Philosophy: Fun first and learning — it’s not a race.

Activities to help with advancement: Participate in MBU’s and we have 1 meeting per month that focuses on helping scouts work on rank advancement, merit badges, etc.

Uniform requirements: Standard Scouts BSA definition. T120 does not wear a neckerchief as part of the uniform
